Does this sound like i want to be in the chior only to get a solo?

well, I am a tenor and I also sing the response of day as well. and want to do solo parts if any. what brought my interest was that I love to sing and I want to try other church's. and my choir is mixed with kids and adults. I am 21 years old and I want to be in a more adult choir. but I will be still sing at my home church. I go to St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton . I do the 10 am m there so I would have time to get there on Sundays.I do understand that there are a couple of weeks left and your getting ready for Easter as my choir is. so I understand I will join on may 5th without a problem.
