What would you say about the situation?

So I've been going out/hanging out with a really intelligent guy named Jon and it seems like everything was going really good, he was really considerate and returned phone calls promptly. On several occasions, he mentioned going to art school in Chicago and suggested I should, too (we're both art students). Friday night when everyone got caught drinking in his friend's dorm, when I was all panicked, he came to my room and cuddled with me. But then Saturday night, after he invited me to a house party, he started acting different, like he was pissed at me. When everyone was dancing, I went to go put my hands around his waist and dance with him, he brushed my hand away and said (I think with all the noise)"It's not my scene." The whole rest of the time at the party, he pretty much ignored me and continued to do so when we got back to his friend's apartment. On his way out he said that he'd be leaving first thing after his final exam to go back down to Detroit the next morning. That night, I contacted him on Myspace to see if he'd be interested in hanging out for an hour or two before he left and although he signed in and out several time in a row, the message went unanswered and still has. What would you say about the situation?
